Habitat for Humanity Work Project

Susan Spain, Administrative Assistant in Pellicano’s Atlanta office, recently participated in the Habitat for Humanity Carter Work Project in Memphis, Tennessee. The project included building 19 new homes (Susan worked on one of these “ground up” builds), 10 beautification projects, and 19 Aging-in-Place wheelchair ramps. Susan has also traveled with the Carters to Leongane, Haiti, to rebuild after the 2010 earthquake, and plans to continue work with the Carters in July 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is also past President of Habitat Rockdale/Conyers, where she still volunteers on Saturdays in an ongoing Habitat subdivision of 33 homes.

Additional pictures from Susan’s trip including build crews, Susan “In Action”, and pictures with former President Jimmy Carter & wife Rosalynn, as well as Trisha Yearwood & Garth Brooks.
