Georgia Southern Bass Anglers 2017 Team Picture with sponsorship jerseys.
The Georgia Southern Bass Anglers is a non-profit, student-run club at Georgia Southern University, founded in early 2006 by a handful of students with the passion and goals of promoting the sport of bass fishing through sportsmanship and conservation. They believe that their generation is responsible for the preservation and growth of competitive and responsible bass angling and therefore make it their goal to represent their sport and Georgia Southern University as ambassadors with enthusiasm.
Each year Georgia Southern hosts a “Collegiate Trail” series designed to grow the sport of bass fishing and provide opportunities for schools around the South East to participate. The lakes for the 2017 tournaments will be Lake Burton, Clark’s Hill Lake, Lake Sinclair & Lake Hartwell. Competitions begin with the first tournament on February 4, 2017, followed by the 2nd tournament on April 1, 2017, next the 3rd tournament will be held on April 29, 2017, and will conclude with the 4th & final tournament on May 13 – 14, 2017.
Best of luck and we will follow your progress at www.georgiasouthernfishing.com.
